Kothapatnam

A sleepy town like village(because it is not village as they call it Mandalam). Some 16 kilometers from Prakasam district headquarters Ongole Town.Though it is coastal
village no rains for the past 2 years hope it will rain in next depression in the bay of bengal. Coming to Kothapatnam Our Grand father Late Perugu Jalaiah RMP
fathered 5 sons(one son demised) 3 daughters. Except second son Perugu venkata Subbiah and Last Son Perugu Laxman rao Perugu rama Lingaiah and Perugu Balakotaiah left Kothapatnam in search of career. So Kothapatnam remained a distant dream for us youngsters when we are teenage boys now we are in early sixties
when we visit this town it pains to see no development what so ever and even children beg in the streets(Normally beggers are rare commodity in villages)>only some 3 or 4 temples still being managed by hand ful of archakas lazy in the temple due to absence of devotees visit. When our Maternal Uncle want our mother to donate few yards of land to Anjeneya Temple at kaikala palem we happyly agreed
and after visiting the site I was disppointed to see it is mis used by some other villagers decided to build a compund wall incorporating few shops to the road side wall to make temple self sufficient. Sh Radhakrishna master seems more interested to see the development Any body interested in our efforts kindly join hands
