Schooling First

Subba rao school run by One subba rao for Telugu speaking children at Arakkonam in fifties. One Nagaraj master use to teach mathematics with pony tail. This snuff inhaling master
has a notion unless u will not beat the child/boy who can not follow his maths they will be left illiterates. My maths till date is as weak as his stick. My aversion to maths begin here.
My father Perugu Balakotaiah working for outhern railways as store keeper at Loco Shed be friend ed This Subbarao master school. So we I mean me and My brother Perugu Mohana rao sent to this school till 5th class. We carry a small bag containing only one book Pedda Bala sikhsha plus rough book/Palaka(slate).we joined Panchayat Board school near by
in class 6Th those days they call it for strange reasons as firs form. Our head master J Williams and assorted teachers use to teach us. One chempak teacher daughter of J Williams
use to narrate one minute story while we wait for lunch break her brother babu Williams is my class fellow. He is an anglo Indian and pampered with lots of toys and good dress also.He is good in English maths but lagged in Languages in which we are better than him. This schooling laster till we shifted from this location to ammanuru road new premises and new school name Government Boys school. This new school premises though spacious awe inspiring due to abandoned grave/burial ground nearby and ammanur forest(thick vegetation) behind railway quarters and water tank. School we had social service league ACC(Auxiliary service Cadet Corps)and we conducted camp camp fire and with help of CARE we use to brew milk with milk powder and those who can not afford meals were eager and willing to assist this programme bringing pot full of water gathering twigs to boil this water before we add milk powder.
Now Mr J K Williams taken over as H M and new batch of teachers joined plus Tamil section added due to Politically motivated persons emerged to demand more for Tamil secions. So Telugu sections slowly depleted.Tamil Nadu Government imposed restriction on Telugu etc.
